Our GPS watches use the SeTracker2 app. The app is updated monthly and received a major usability upgrade in 2020

It is important that you always restart the watch via the watch settings after setting up and/or inserting the SIM card. This ensures that the data is set correctly during the restart.

In addition, the SIM card must not contain a PIN code, so if you have a SIM card from another provider, you must remove the PIN code from the SIM card via the phone's settings.

Description / Explanation of the App with main functions:

LBS

  • Before you begin, first go to the SETracker2 app. Go to LBS and turn this function off (grayed out). LBS (Local Based Services) searches for the three nearest cell towers and takes the average of these locations. This location deviates by at least 1000 to 1500 meters from the exact (GPS) location. If you disable LBS, GPS takes over.

SOS Family number

  • Put yourself first
     A 2nd important family member out of 2 (not necessarily)
     A 3rd most important family member out of 3 (not necessary)
     Save this by pressing Save
  • In an emergency, your child holds the button down for 5 seconds. The watch will then dial SOS contact 1. If no one answers, the watch will automatically call SOS contact 2 and then SOS contact 3. If none of the numbers are answered, it will call contact 1 again until someone answers.

Please note that if any of the emergency contacts have voicemail turned on, the circle will be interrupted because the watch will think it is connected.

Do Not Disturb Mode

  • Set when the watch cannot be used, for example, during school hours. You can enter four time periods, which you can set with times and days. During the Do Not Disturb period, the watch cannot be used, nor can it receive messages or calls. The SOS function remains available at all times, as does the GPS location to track your child's location.

When you call the watch in Do Not Disturb Mode, you will hear that the watch is busy.

Work mode

  • Indicate here how often you want a GPS connection to be made with the GPS Watch.
     Normal mode: 1 x every 10 minutes (Recommended)
  • Economy mode: 1 x per hour
    Follow Mode: every minute

Family members:

Would you like to appoint multiple family members to monitor your child? You can add family members to your account so you don't have to share your own login information.

Example:

  • Mom is the main user, and Dad wants to follow along too.
  • Dad then creates his own account via SETracker2 where he enters his own email address and password.
  • The watch then asks for the registration code, your child's name and who he or she is to be paired.
  • Mom will receive a notification in the app. Always double-check who the request is from. Mom will then have to choose to accept or delete. If he accepts, the father can also use the app and control all its features.
  • The main user can always delete the other linked family members at any time.

SMS Alarm settings

  • Enter your phone number here under guardianship number
  • Select when you want to receive an SMS:
     Empty battery: When the battery is empty you will receive an SMS
     SOS Reminder: In case of an SOS call you will receive an SMS

This option isn't necessary, as the app also sends you push notifications. If you do enable this feature, a fee will be deducted from your SMS costs for each message.

Phone book

  • At 1 you put your phone number
  • You can fill in the rest yourself, such as Dad, Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Brother, etc.

Time zone

  • Set the time to East GMT+1:00
  • At the top you can indicate summer time or winter time

Language selection

  • Here you can make a language selection when needed

Turn off

  • This turns off the watch with the App

Restart

  • This allows you to remotely restart the watch

Delete account

  • Press Delete Account
  • Enter your password
  • Confirm, and your account will be deleted and disconnected from the watch. If you want to use the watch again, you'll need to re-register it and set up the app.

Intercom

  • When you go to WeTalk in the watch you can send a voice message
  • When you press the button to speak, you can record a message of up to 15 seconds. When you release the button, the message is sent to the app.
  • You will then receive this notification on your phone. Open the app and you can listen to the message via the intercom and send something back if necessary.

Card

  • The map shows the watch's location. You can display multiple watches simultaneously. Refresh the location by tapping the droplet icon.
  • It may take a while for the location to arrive. If you're inside a building, it may be difficult for the watch to connect to the satellite. Outdoors, the location is very accurate.

Health

  • By pressing the arrow on the right next to the function indicated, you can set the functions. Pedometer - keeps track of steps. Calories - how many calories your child burns. Distance - how far your child travels that day. Sleep Movement - how much your child moves during sleep.

At 00:00 the watch resets the values ​​to 0

Search Watch

  • If you can't find the watch and it's still on, you can use this feature. The watch will then start ringing at its current location.

    Reject unknown call

    • Go to the Reject Unknown Call option, here you can turn it on and off
    • The watch can be called by the phone numbers you set in the phone book

    Security zones

    • Open the map and press the symbol on the right with the circle.
    • Tap the map to specify an area. Use the bar at the bottom to increase the range up to 2000 meters.
    • When your child goes outside, you will receive a notification on your phone.
    • Please note: to receive the notification, the GPS location must be updated regularly.

    Alarm

    • In this option you can set 3 alarms
       For example:
       Alarm Clock 1: Wake Up - 7:00
       Alarm Clock 2: Dinner - 5:00 PM
       Alarm Clock 3: Arrival - 7:00 PM
    • You can arrange this per day.

    Rewards

    • This allows you to encourage your child. For example: If you come home on time, you will receive a heart. If you reach X number of hearts, you can give a reward in return.

    Watch charging tips:

    • Make sure that the GPS Watch is always charged under supervision.
    • Never charge the GPS Watch for more than 4 hours at a time.
    • Charge the GPS Watch via a USB charging point and not in a wall socket.
    • Charging via wall socket is at your own risk, an overcharged battery is NOT covered by the warranty!!
