From what age can I use a GPS watch for children?
At Qlokkie we can already offer a GPS watch for children from the age of 3.
Sometimes parents don't want a watch, but a necklace. The Kiddo GO+ solves this problem.
Problem solved! This allows you to turn the watch into a pocket watch. It doesn't have to be worn on your wrist, but can also be carried in a backpack or inside jacket pocket.
What is the consumption of the watch?
On average, a watch uses about 30 to 50 MB per month to connect/keep connected to the server. This costs an average of €0.50 per month in data for daily use. Depending on your use, the costs may be lower or higher.
What is the delivery time of Qlokkie?
All orders are processed the same day and delivered the next day. If products are sold out, shipping may take a little longer. You can always refer to the status of your order via track and trace.
Can multiple providers be used?
In addition to Lebara, several providers can be used for the watch. The Lebara SIM card is supplied with free starting credit as standard.
Which provider is best to use in Belgium?
In Belgium we recommend Proximus and TeleNet. With Proximus SIM with internet and calling credit, you often do not even have to send the APN SMS, but the watch works immediately after you have installed the SIM and restarted the watch. With Telenet you still need to additional APN SMS to be sent to the SIM in the watch.
What is the size of the watch?
The minimum wrist size is 11cm for our watches.
What is the difference between the watches?
The latest model is the Kiddo 23. This is the successor to the Kiddo 21 where the functions are the same but the screen is larger. If you are looking for a slightly narrower watch, the Kiddo Slim is for you.
Can the watch be used abroad?
The watch can also be used abroad. With Lebara you are assured of internet and calling throughout Europe. Read more about setting up the GPS watch for abroad here.
