In this manual we will take you step by step through the installation of your Kiddo Next.

Activating the SIM card

Activate the SIM card via your phone
- Insert the supplied SIM card into your phone.
- Call 1244 to activate the SIM card.
- Check your credit by calling *100#.
- Or: Activate the SIM card via the watch.

Remark: This isn't necessary right away. The SIM card already includes €5 credit and 200MB upon activation.
- Download the MyLebara app in the App/Play Store (via WIFI).
- Create an account in the app if you don't have one yet.
- Go to the menu at the top right (three lines)
- Select 'top up & bundles'
- Then select 'top up' and the desired amount.
- Insert the SIM card into your Qlokkie
- Slide out the SIM card tray on the side of the smartwatch. Place the SIM card in the tray with the connectors facing the screen.
- Then slide the SIM card holder into the smartwatch and check whether it is properly secured by pressing on it.
- Start the watch and check if it's connected by calling it. If not, restart the watch. You can do this by going to the settings and then selecting "Restart."
If the watch doesn't connect to the network after the above attempts, you can send the following text message from your phone to the SIM card in the watch: pw,123456,ip,52.28.132.157,8001#. You will receive an "OK!" confirmation within 15 minutes. Make sure there are no capital letters or spaces in the code.
- Download the APP on your phone
- For this you can download the app 'SeTracker 2' from the App/Play Store.
- Open the app and make sure that the language 'Dutch' and area 'Europe and Africa' are selected on the login screen.
- Then create an account by registering.
- Then, use the app to scan your watch's QR code to pair it. The QR code is located on the back or attached to the watch. If scanning doesn't work, you can also enter the REG code manually.
- The smartwatch is now paired to the app.
It is important that you always restart the watch via the settings in the watch after setting up and/or inserting the SIM card, so that the data is set correctly during the restart.
For an optimal GPS connection with your Qlokkie, we recommend going outside. There, satellite signals are less obstructed by obstacles, making open spaces the ideal place for your GPS watch to receive a strong signal.

Can I use the smartwatch with another provider?
Yes, it's possible to use the smartwatch with a provider other than Lebara. To do this, insert the SIM card without the PIN code and restart the watch. If the watch doesn't connect immediately, the APN settings will need to be reset. You can read how that works here.
Are you using the watch in Belgium? In Belgium, you need to enable data roaming to use the watch. To do this, go to Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Data Roaming -> Tap "Connect to data roaming service while roaming." After doing this, restart the watch via the settings.
How do I charge the watch?
- Make sure the 4 magnetic points of the charger align properly with the watch.
- Charge the GPS watch via a USB charging point and not via a wall socket.
- Never charge your Qlokkie for more than 4 hours at a time and always keep it under supervision.
If you charge the watch using a fast charger connected to a wall socket, there's a high risk of overcharging, and the battery won't last long. If you still want to use a wall socket, purchase a 5V 1A adapter. An overcharged battery is not covered by the warranty.
Can I swim with a watch?
No, it is not recommended to swim with a Qlokkie. These GPS watches are completely dustproof and waterproof up to 1 meter. If you go deeper than 1 meter, water damage may occur due to the pressure. Therefore, it's important that the watch is properly sealed to prevent water from entering.
The watches are equipped with water indicators, and these indicators determine the warranty. If the watch has become wet inside, this can be determined. Watches with water damage are not covered by the warranty.
Does the watch also work abroad?
Yes. To use the watch abroad, it needs to be configured. This can be done with a simple text message. Click here to set the watch for abroad.

Description / Explanation of the App with main functions:
Phone book
Phone numbers must be registered in the app's phone book. If the number isn't registered there, the watch can't be called. This is for security reasons. It's recommended to enter phone numbers with the area code: 0031612345678. This ensures the number is recognized even abroad.
Please note that if one of the SOS contacts has voicemail turned on, the circle will be interrupted because the watch will think it is connected.
SOS numbers
Enter the phone numbers the child can use the watch to send/call SOS signals. Up to three numbers can be added. Holding the SOS button for three seconds automatically dials contacts in turn and sends a message to app users until the call is answered.
SMS Alerts
Set a notification to alert you when the battery is low and/or when your child presses the SOS button for 3 seconds. If you have the Kiddo 21, you can also receive a notification when the watch is removed.
LBS Function
If you're experiencing location accuracy issues, make sure the feature is disabled in the app. LBS searches for the three nearest cell towers and averages them, which deviate from the exact GPS location by at least 1,000 to 1,500 meters.
Set location update (work mode)
Set the watch's location interval. Note that this setting places a significant drain on the battery. If your battery drains quickly, we recommend adjusting this setting.
Do not disturb mode
You can set this to indicate when the watch cannot be used, for example, during school hours. You can enter four time periods, which you can set with times and days.During the 'do not disturb' period the watch can not be used, no Receive messages or calls. The SOS function remains available at all times, as does the GPS location to track your child's location. When you call the watch in "Do Not Disturb" mode, you'll hear that the watch is in conversation.
Listen-along functions (Kiddo 21)
This way, you can hear what's happening around your child. You can hear your child, but they can't hear you. Keep in mind that your watch's call credit will be deducted because it's calling you. Your number will be automatically filled in when you enter your phone number in the SMS Alarm.Set up a safety zone (Geofence)
The safety area can be set via the app:- Click on the map in the app.
- Check if the watch is connected and its location is listed.
- Next, select the two circles (◎) with the triangle on the right side of the screen. This will allow you to set the motion zone.
- Click the + sign at the bottom and then select the area on the map. At the bottom, you can specify the distance/size of the area.
- Make sure the area name is entered in the bottom right corner and then press OK. The zone has been created successfully.
Change watch face
By holding down the clock display you can change the appearance of the watch face.
The free applications are provided and maintained by third parties. Qlokkie has no influence on the app's operation. Qlokkie is also not responsible for the app's performance. Qlokkie can only obtain information about the app from the developers on your behalf. -
