Can you swim with the GPS watch?
No, it is not recommended to go swimming with a Qlokkie. The GPS watches are IP67 certified. This means that the watches are completely dustproof and waterproof up to a depth of 1 meter. If you go swimming or shower with it, there is a chance that the watch will break. If you drop it into a bucket of water or if it gets splashed while playing, there is no problem.
Are the watches simlock free?
Yes, the watches are SIM-free. With every Qlokkie you will receive a free SIM card from Lebara, which we recommend using because of the well-covered network.
Does the watch also work abroad?
Yes, our watches can be used worldwide. However, the server is set to Europe. If you are outside Europe, the APN connections must be adjusted.
What is the consumption in terms of MBs for the GPS Watches?
On average, a watch uses about 30 to 50 MB per month to connect/keep connected to the server. This costs an average of €0.50 per month in data for daily use. Depending on your use, the costs may be lower or higher.
Because consumption is so low, we recommend prepaid instead of subscription. Only when you want to make a lot of calls with the watch/tracker is it advisable to switch to a subscription.
Are there any other costs that need to be taken into account?
All costs are charged via the credit on the prepaid, this applies to both calling and internet costs. If the SIM card no longer has any credit, the watch can no longer send the location and you will receive an error message. You can then top this up via the SIM card provider's app.
Can multiple Qlokkies be connected to one account?
This is certainly possible in the app SETracker2 you can easily pair a second watch by adding a device. After adding, you must turn the watch off and on and the second watch will appear in the app.
Do the Qlokkies also have a digital dial in addition to an analogue dial?
Yes, there are 10 different variants that can be set via the watch. If you press and hold the watch face, various options will appear.
What is the delivery time of Qlokkie?
All orders are processed the same day and delivered the next day. If products are sold out, shipping may take a little longer. You can always refer to the status of your order via track and trace.
